LORE WIP

After a long trip, Cinna was finally on her way home.
She see’s her family through the taxi window and waves. Their smiles
turn into horror as a shadow covers Cinna’s view as a truck crashes
into the taxi.
Cinna’s vision blurs as she tries opening her eyes.
Her husband stands in front of her with tears streaming down his face
With pain Cinna raises a hand towards him with a pained smile before
her vision darkensAfter awakening, she notices she’s no longer home.
Laying on her back, Cinna is met with the moon and an empty sky.
Tears start growing, as they fell, they started floating into the sky
turning into stars.A final tear floated into the sky as she thought of her daughter.
That star shone brighter and was more beautiful than the others.
Finally taking in her appearance, she no longer looked human,
but as a fusion of a barn owl and lunar moth, with a crescent
moon symbol resting on her chest.
She felt a power stirring within her, she knew then that she was
reborn a goddessAs years passed the star shone bright filling her with happiness while she explored
her new world. Meeting new people, helping those in need, one of them
being a fallen kitsune.
One day she felt a shift in the sky; looking up she saw her star, the
brightest one she considered her daughter, missing. With a cry of fear
she started searching.
The beautiful moon turned dark.After decades of searching, she felt the presence of her star. She finds her
in the form of a human. Beautiful with bright eyes, bird wings fluttering from her
chestnut hair.
Cinna was about to call out to her as two women enter the
room and began discussing her future as a ruler. ‘Gloomi’ is the name they call her.
Cinna felt darkness from the women, and realizes that they’re from the
evil family she heard about in her travels. They rule with fear and hatred,
causing their subjects nothing but pain.Cinna’s anger and despair starts seething within her.
Then the women leave the room.
She makes a quick decision and floats down to her daughter.
The child looks at her bewildered.
With tears in Cinna’s eyes, she caresses the child’s face, erasing her memories.
With a sob, she imagines the world she came from, and sends her daughter there.
Cinna returns to her dark moon, vowing to destroy the kingdom that took
her daughter away.
